I am pleased and honored to serve as your child’s 7th grade math teacher. Over the next few weeks, we will be reviewing concepts from Module 1, 2 and 3. We will begin working on Module 2: Rational Numbers after the Thanksgiving break.

Every student will be challenged everyday with rigorous and meaningful instruction that is aligned with the state content standards. I expect every student to put forth his or her best effort each and every day.

I believe that organization, structure, and routine lead to necessary behavior. Therefore, I have established classroom procedures. Your child will be taught these procedures, and we will practice these routines over the next week or two. I, too, have established procedures for myself that are for the benefit of my students. I believe that my routines will help my students know what to expect each day.

Students will be notified of homework, lessons, assessments, and other aspects of our class. Homework and other announcements will be posted weekly on our Google classroom page.

Myself.

My name is Dr. Jennifer Bynum. I have been in education since 2004. I have served as a teacher, curriculum coach, and an assistant principal. I love traveling with my family or watching a good movie when I am not in the classroom.
